Our Kawakawa & Calendula Nipple Balm is handcrafted with natural, organic and vegan botanicals to restore and protect sensitive skin.

Enriched with Cocoa Butter and Mango Butter, it deeply nourishes and moisturises, while Candelilla Wax forms a gentle, protective barrier that locks in moisture. Infused with Kawakawa, Hemp, Calendula and Chamomile, our balm harnesses the anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiseptic powers of New Zealand botanicals to reduce tenderness, support healing and keep skin soft and supple.

KEY BOTANICAL ACTIVES
Kawakawa - Kawakawa is a beautiful New Zealand Native and has been used in rongoā Māori (traditional healing system) for centuries. Kawakawa's main active is methyoxybenzaldehyde, which is a compound that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Effectively reducing inflammation, and helping to protect against free radical damage. Kawakawa's holistic healing powers make it useful for a variety of skin conditions.

Hemp Seed Oil - Hemp Seed Oil is a softening, soothing, and healing oil that is rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and essential fatty acids, including omega 3, 6 & 9 & GLA which help repair the skin barrier. It has a reputation as being called “Nature's most perfectly balanced oil” as it has excellent moisturizing and nourishing properties, helping to hydrate and protect the skin. Its anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties help to soothe and calm irritated skin

Calendula - Calendula is a powerful yet gentle and nourishing herb. Used traditionally for minor skin inflammation and minor wound healing due to its high content of Vitamin A. Calendula has soothing, calming and anti-inflammatory properties helping to ease irritated skin. 

Chamomile - Renowned for its calming and soothing capabilities, Chamomile imparts extremely beneficial anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-allergenic properties. Chamomile is useful for all skin types and is excellent to aid in skin healing, especially in irritated or inflamed skin.

Mango Butter - Mango Butter is high in natural vitamin C, which helps to simulate the production of collagen. It is packed with antioxidants and works as an emollient to soften the skin. Its high essential fatty acid profile makes it effective in preventing inflammation and itching. 

Cocoa Butter - Cocoa Butter with its sweet cocoa aroma boosts skin flexibility, repairs and protects the skin. Cocoa butter forms a protective barrier on the skin to lock in moisture, keeping your skin supple and deeply hydrated. 

DIRECTIONS
Apply a small amount of balm to each nipple after each feed or as often as needed. Begin using in the second half of pregnancy to nourish and support your skin in preparation for breastfeeding.

We recommend to patch test first with any new product.

This product comes in a recyclable & reusable amber jar. Return your bottles and jars to be cleaned and sanitized so they can do another round. Extending the lifespan of our packaging reduces unnecessary waste in landfill!
