When can I expect my order?

Generate Kind Co. is a small, passion business and run around my full time job and my family.

Every product is handcrafted in small batches to ensure it is going out at its freshest and most potent.

As I endeavor to get all orders out as soon as possible, please allow a turn-around time of 3-7 days. This is dependent on if the product is made up ready to go or needs to be made up fresh, just for you!

Once your order is lovingly made and packaged up for you, it will be shipped. You will receive notification of this with your tracking number and the estimated delivery time for you.

Delivery targets once collected from the courier are 3-5 working days, although in times of high demand there may be delays.

Product care and shelf life

Caring for your products and storing your products properly are essential to get the best out of your products and longest shelf life.

Please read the individual products label for directions of this.

All Generate Kind Co. products are made fresh with 100% natural ingredients. We use a natural preservative system but care must be taken to not overload it.

To ensure you get the best shelf life from your products and its safety does not become compromised, avoid introducing water into products and always handle products with clean, dry hands. Ensure the lid of your products are secure and your products are stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool dry place.

Product shelf life is 12-18 months from formulation. We recommend using products within 6 months of opening.

Test patching & Allergies

We recommend with any new product to patch test before first use.

This can be done by simply applying a small amount of product to your forearm and waiting 24 hours to see if any reaction or irritation occurs.

Allergies, irritation and adverse reactions can occur and can be caused by a wide range of ingredients, varying from person to person. Please remember to read our ingredient list carefully on our products and follow the directions of use.

Should an adverse reaction occur after use of our product please immediately stop using and seek medical advise from your doctor.

Are our products Gluten-Free?

Our Purple Clay & Rose Face Mask, Green Clay & Matcha Face Mask and Coconut Milk & Oatmeal Bath Soak are not gluten free as they contain Colloidal Oatmeal.

All of our products are formulated and produced in an environment that contains wheat and nut ingredients.

We provide a full list of ingredients on the product label and on the website. Please read the label carefully.

Are our products Nut-Free?

Our Baby & Mumma - Baby Bump Oil, Baby Massage Oil, Cocoa & Vanilla Body Butter Cream, Massage & Body Oil range, Nail & Cuticle Oil range, Foot Balm, Nourish & Glow Face Oil (Argan) are not nut free as they contain Sweet Almond oil or Argan oil.

Are our products Organic?

Where possible we aim to use certified organic ingredients. However, we don't limit ourselves to just organic ingredients as there are an array of amazing natural botanical ingredients we love to use.

Are our products Vegan?

We are proud to be 100% vegan and cruelty-free. We don't test on animals, we test on friends and family!

Are our products Pregnancy safe?

Our Baby & Mumma Range is formulated specifically for pre, pregnancy and post partum. Made with natural and organic botanicals and butters and no essential oils.

Our skincare is made with all natural ingredients and contain a low percentage of essential oils (0.5-2% depending on the product).

It is important to look into which ingredients and essential oils are safe for use on your body during this time.

Please read the ingredient list on the website or product label, and seek guidance of a healthcare practitioner to decide what is suitable for you at this time.

Batch to batch differences

As our skincare is made with natural botanical ingredients it is quite normal for the colour and scent of the products to differ from batch to batch.

The colour variations of each batch are a testament to the authenticity and purity of the ingredients used, bringing a sense of uniqueness and individuality to each batch.

Just like how no two flowers are exactly the same, no two batches of natural skincare products will be exactly the same.

This can be due to seasonal and environmental conditions and where the ingredient have been harvested and sourced from.

This does not impact the quality or efficacy of the product, but we think it adds a touch of individuality and reminds us of the beauty of the natural world.

Where are GKC products made?

All of our products are handcrafted and packaged in-house by myself locally in Selwyn, New Zealand.
