Our mineral-rich Green Clay & Matcha face mask will detoxify and purify your skin while leaving it soothed and hydrated.

The purifying properties of French green clay and Bentonite clay work together as they draw out impurities and absorb excess oil. Matcha Green Tea is a powerful antioxidant which helps by slowing down the aging of the skin. Skin brightening Orange peel provides vitamin C, antioxidants and gentle exfoliation to regenerate healthy skin growth and decrease future breakouts. Soothing Aloe Vera and moisturizing Colloidal Oats help to calm and nourish the skin, reducing inflammation and congestion and rehydrating the skin. Lavender and Lemon essential oils give our mask a beautiful scent, while also providing additional anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory benefits helping to balance and tone the skin.

KEY BOTANICAL ACTIVES
French Green Clay - Clay has been used for thousands of years to absorb toxic substances and impurities in the skin and eliminate them. It also helps to soothe and relax skin that is tight or irritated and helps to control excessive oiliness, making the skin more homogeneous and balanced.

Bentonite Clay - Bentonite Clay is composed of aged volcanic ash. It is unique in that it has the ability to produce an “electrical charge” when hydrated. When mixed with water, its electrical components change, allowing it to absorb toxins. Bentonite is thus often used to detoxify toxins, heavy metals, chemicals and other impurities from the skin and body. 

Colloidal Oatmeal - Oatmeal has long been used to soothe dry, irritated and inflamed skin conditions. It works by creating an occlusive barrier on the skin, helping to lock in moisture and at the same time protect it from irritants.

Matcha Green Tea - Super concentrated Green Tea active contains EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate) a natural antioxidant that helps prevent and protect skin cells from damage that ages them.  It contains high levels of Chlorophyll which helps to calm redness and irritation.

Orange Peel - Orange peel contains high levels of natural vitamin C and a host of antioxidants that help form collagen and elastin, fight free radicals, and brighten your skin. It gently exfoliates the skin, unclogging pores of impurities.

Aloe Vera - Aloe Vera best known for its hydrating and soothing effect on the skin. It also provides healing, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. Aloe Vera provides direct moisture to the skin and moisture regulation. It also has a slightly relaxing effect on the skin making its greatly suited to sensitive and sun-exposed skin.

DIRECTIONS
To activate your clay mask place 1-2 tsps. of clay into a glass or ceramic bowl. Add a few drops of water or our Rose floral water and mix until you get a thick creamy consistency.

Apply the mask to a clean face using a brush or your fingertips working from your nose outwards. Avoid eye and mouth area. Apply generously to avoid the mask drying out too quickly.

Leave on for 10 minutes, removing before it dries. Remove with a warm damp cloth. Continue with your skincare routine.

We recommend to patch test first with any new product.

This product comes in a recyclable & reusable glass jar. Return your bottles and jars to be cleaned and sanitized so they can do another round. Extending the lifespan of our packaging reduces unnecessary waste in landfill!
