Our Kawakawa & Hemp Balm harnesses the natural healing properties of the New Zealand native Kawakawa plant, combined with the nourishing benefits of Hemp Seed, Calendula and Black Cumin.

An all-round, multi-purpose balm, it works as a healing salve, protective barrier and soothing skin treatment. Rich in potent plant-based ingredients yet gentle enough for sensitive skin, it’s formulated for ultra-dry, cracked or irritated skin, or as a preventative barrier to keep skin calm and protected.

Handcrafted with care, using only high-quality, natural and organic ingredients. Packed with Omega 3, 6 & 9 essential fatty acids, it helps nourish and balance skin, restore the skin barrier, and reduce inflammation for a calmer, healthier complexion.

DIRECTIONS
Apply balm 2-3 times a day to the irritated area, then daily as the skin begins to heal.

KEY BOTANICAL ACTIVES
Kawakawa - Kawakawa is a beautiful New Zealand Native and has been used in rongoā Māori (traditional healing system) for centuries. Kawakawa's main active is methyoxybenzaldehyde, which is a compound that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Effectively reducing inflammation, and helping to protect against free radical damage. Kawakawa's holistic healing powers make it useful for a variety of skin conditions.

Hemp Seed Oil - Hemp Seed Oil is a softening, soothing, and healing oil that is rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and essential fatty acids, including omega 3, 6 & 9 & GLA which help repair the skin barrier. It has a reputation as being called “Nature's most perfectly balanced oil” as it has excellent moisturizing and nourishing properties, helping to hydrate and protect the skin. Its anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties help to soothe and calm irritated skin

Black Cumin - Black Cumin, also known as Nigella has been used since ancient times. Helping to promote healing for topical skin conditions. Packed full of nutrients, high in Vitamin A, B & C, along with minerals of Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc, giving the skin what it needs to recover, repair and restore its natural health and vitality.

Calendula - Calendula is a powerful yet gentle and nourishing herb. Used traditionally for minor skin inflammation and minor wound healing due to its high content of Vitamin A. Calendula has soothing, calming and anti-inflammatory properties helping to ease irritated skin. 

Mango Butter - Mango Butter is high in natural vitamin C, which helps to simulate the production of collagen. It is packed with antioxidants and works as an emollient to soften the skin. Its high essential fatty acid profile makes it effective in preventing inflammation and itching.

This product comes in a recyclable & reusable amber jar. Return your bottles and jars to be cleaned and sanitized so they can do another round. Extending the lifespan of our packaging reduces unnecessary waste in landfill!
